Bob Bertucci

Bob Bertucci is currently the head women’s volleyball coach at Temple University, a position he assumed in 1995. He has also served in the same position at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, the University of Tennessee, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. In addition to his collegiate coaching, Bob is currently working with the U.S. National Program coaching, conducting tryouts, and scouting. He coached the 1999 U.S. Women’s World University Games team in Spain; the 1985 Women’s World University Games team in Kobe, Japan; two U.S. Olympic Festivals; and the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team. He was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year in 1997, 1999, and 2002. He was also selected in 1988, 1990, and 1992 as the E.I.V.A. Coach of the Year and the 1984 Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year. Bob’s teams have made 12 NCAA appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 1990, and have won 10 conference championships. During his exceptional career, Bob has developed and coached eight All-Americans, 46 All-Conference athletes, has authored more than a half-dozen books, and has been featured on 11 well-received instructional videos/DVDs on volleyball.
