Janet Hope, Ph.D., recently retired as professor of sociology at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University in Minnesota, where she had been a faculty member for almost 20 years. She has studied, researched, and taught in the area of family sociology for almost 25 years. She is the mother of Dr. Liddy Hope and the mother-in-law of Sally Hope.

Liddy Hope, Ph.D., holds an M.S. in marriage and family therapy from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in family social sciences from the University of Minnesota. Her research interests center around issues of gender, parenting, and families.

Sally Hope has been married to former Purdue University head football coach Danny Hope for more than 30 years. Sally has experienced the life of being married to a graduate assistant, position coach, assistant head coach, and a head coach at the high school, Division I FCS, and Division I BCS levels. Sally received her B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University and her M.A.T. from the University of Louisville.
