Chris Fore

Chris Fore is a veteran high school football coach and athletic director from Southern California. His education includes a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University, and a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies. Fore has earned the Certified Athletic Administrator distinction from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.

Fore started his coaching career while still a senior in high school after a tragic car accident ended his playing career. In 2003, at 27 years of age, Fore took over as the head coach at Linfield Christian in Temecula, California. While at Linfield Christian, the Lions reached the CIF Semi Finals in 2002 and 2004. Capistrano Valley Christian School of San Juan Capistrano, California recruited him to turn their program around. In his first year there, the Eagles improved to a 5-5 record after being winless the year before he started. In 2010, his team won the league championship, and his peers voted Fore as the Coach of the Year. The Eagles won six league championships under his direction, a school record. He became the athletic director and varsity special teams coordinator at Excelsior Charter School in Victorville, California in May 2012. That same year, Excelsior won the CIF Championship in eight-man football and finished the season as MaxPreps highest ranked eight-man team in California.

Fore also runs COACHFORE.ORG, a popular coaching blog among coaches nationwide. He also works as a consultant for football programs and schools nationwide—he specializes in the hiring process and organizational management. His consulting business can be found at www.eightlaces.org.
