David Altopp

David Altopp is the head baseball coach at Lee University (TN), a position he assumed in 1997 when he was selected to reconstruct a baseball program that had been discontinued for several years. Altopp began his coaching career at Phoenix Christian (AZ) High School, where his team won the Arizona state championship in 1968. He has been a head college coach for 27 years, winning his 500th game during the 1998 season. Actively involved on the executive committee of the American Baseball Coaches Association, Altopp is widely renowned as one of the most gifted clinicians and most knowledgeable coaches in the game.
