Mike Montgomery
Mike Montgomery is the head men's basketball coach at the University of California, a position he assumed in 2008. One of the most respected and honored coaches in the history of the game, his illustrious coaching résumé includes two seasons at the helm of the NBA's Golden State Warriors and 18 years as the head men's basketball coach at Stanford University. While directing the Cardinals’ men's hoop program, he led his Stanford teams to sixteen post-season appearances (12 NCAAs and four NITs). Before joining Stanford, Montgomery served on the staff at the University of Montana for ten years, the last eight of which he was the Grizzlies’ head coach. He has also served as an assistant coach at Boise State, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Colorado State, the Citadel, and Florida.
