Mike Gibson

Mike Gibson is the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, a position he assumed in 2005. Previously, he served as the offensive line coach for the University of Louisiana (2002-2004) and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2001). Prior to that, he served as the special teams/tight ends coach for Rutgers University (1996-2000) and as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Colgate University (1993-1995). He began his coaching career in 1978 at his alma mater, Western Maryland, where he was a four-year starting center on the football team. Gibson then worked for three seasons (1979-1981) as the head freshman coach and recruiting coordinator at Cornell University. He next spent six years on the gridiron staff at Boston University (1982-1987), moved on to Rice (1988), and then to Temple (1989-1992). Widely respected for his experience with and in-depth knowledge of special teams play, he has been featured on numerous well-received instructional videos.
