Biography

  • Dexter Davis is a veteran coach, who played cornerback in college for Clemson University. He then went on to play in the NFL for seven seasons (Phoenix Cardinals and the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams). He began his coaching career at Morgan State University, where he served as the Bears' defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator for four years. His coaching résumé also includes stints at Charleston Southern University, as well as two tours as an interscholastic coach. In 2007, Davis was the secondary coach for the World Champion Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europe. Currently, he is co-owner of D1 Sports Training/Therapy-a state-of-the-art training facility in Greenville, South Carolina and is also a volunteer servant for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Davis and his wife, LaShea, have four children: Breci, Shye, D.J., and Micah.
