Mark Maas

Mark Maas is the head boy’s and girl’s track and field coach at Whitewater High School. Since Maas took the program over 14 years ago, Whitewater has won 14 girl's and 11 boy’s Southern Lakes Conference titles in track. In 2007 at the WIAA State Track and Field Meet, Maas' girl’s team finished ninth place and the boy’s team finished fourth in Division II. Other top finishes for the Whitewater girl’s team include Division II State Runner-Up in 1998 and 2000, and Division II State Champions in 1997 and 1999. The boy’s team finished third at state in 1996 and were WIAA Division II State Runner-Up in 1997. Maas is well known for his enthusiasm and motivational skills and has been a presenter numerous times at the Wisconsin High School Track and Field Coaches Clinic. Mark is the past president of the Wisconsin Track and Field Coaches Association. He continues to travel to other parts of the country representing the State of Wisconsin at national high school track and field clinics, conferences, and conventions.
