Charles Winslette

Charles Winslette is the head football coach at Gatewood School (GA), a position he assumed in 2005. With 32 years of coaching experience, including 30 years as a head coach, Winslette is widely respected as one of the top interscholastic coaches in the game. His record as a head coach is 244-104-3, which includes two Georgia state championships (1985 and 1993) and two runners-up for the state championship (1989 and 1997). A 1974 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he was a member of the Bulldogs’ baseball team, Winslette has been honored three times (1985, 1993, and 1997) by the Atlanta Touchdown Club as its coach of the year.
