Paul Cronin

Paul Cronin is the head football coach at Cardinal Newman (CA) High School, a position he assumed in 2002. During his tenure at the helm of the Cardinals’ gridiron program, his teams have achieved a 51-11 record. Every year that Cronin has been at Cardinal Newman, his teams have won the North Coast Section RE Championship. In 2006, the Cardinals reached the Division 3 California state title game. For his efforts, Cronin has been named Empire District Coach of the Year three times. A 1997 graduate of the University of Mary (ND), where he earned four letters as a quarterback for the Marauders, Cronin began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater for a season. He then became the head coach at Pioneer (CA) High School, before joining Cardinal Newman.
