Chuck Donohue

Chuck Donohue is the head football coach at Southern Regional (NJ) High School, a position he assumed in 1998. A football coach for 42 years, Donohue has coached at four different high schools in New Jersey and has led all four teams to the New Jersey state playoffs. He began his coaching career in 1971 at St. Joseph High School in Hammonton, New Jersey, where he coached until 1980. From 1981-1985 he coached at Haddon Heights High School, before coaching at Buena Regional High School from 1986-1997. Overall his teams have made 18 playoff appearances and have won two state championships. A graduate of Rowan University (known as Glassboro Stat College during his undergraduate days), where he played defensive back for the Profs, Donohue is one of the most highly regarded and widely respected interscholastic coaches is in the game.
