Frank Hepler
Frank Hepler is the defensive coordinator at Cypress Bay (FL) High School, a position he assumed in 2005. Prior to joining the Lightning’s staff, he served as the head football coach at Plantation (FL) High School, where he helped lead the Colonels to a 135-35 record in 14 seasons (1991-2004). At Plantation, his teams had five undefeated regular seasons and were district champions 10 times. During that period, Hepler had over 45 players earn Division I scholarships and more than 65 other athletes who went on to play intercollegiate football at a lower level. One of the most respected interscholastic coaches in the Southeast, Hepler has received numerous Coach of the Year awards for his coaching efforts.
