Jim Hartigan

Jim Hartigan is the head football coach at Clovis West (CA) High School, a position he assumed in 2005. Previously, he served 16 seasons at Santa Margarita (CA) High School as the Eagles’ first head football coach. In the process, Hartigan’s teams have compiled a record of 157-52-5 (73%), won three CIF titles, and earned six league championships. His squads consistently achieve high national rankings (USA Today). Widely respected as one of the top interscholastic coaches in the game, Hartigan has coached a number of players who have made noteworthy accomplishments on the gridiron, including the 2002 Heisman Trophy Award winner, Carson Palmer (Cincinnati Bengals), and the 1997 Walter Payton Award winner, Brian Finneran (Atlanta Falcons).
