Richard Trimble

Dr. Richard Trimble is an assistant baseball coach at Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey. He has been on the staff of the Brookdale Baseball Camp for more than 20 years and now directs his own instructional camps, Baseball PrAlso covers organizing a youth clinic and fundraising ideas. Dozens of photographs, illustrations, and checklists make for easy implementation.ep. Since 1997, he has been the bullpen coach for the Jersey Shore team in the prestigious Carpenter Cup. Trimble has been coaching baseball since he was 15 years old. After serving as a junior varsity and varsity assistant at two high schools, he moved into the middle school ranks at Manasquan Elementary and Spring Lake Heights schools in New Jersey. His junior varsity teams won more than 100 games, and his middle school record was 118-35-3, including eight conference championships in 14 years. He also coaches ice hockey and has published three drill books for hockey coaches. Trimble holds five college degrees, including a Ph.D. in American History. He has written six books on teaching and coaching. He has taught history classes at Manasquan and Monsignor Donovan High Schools. He also teaches history at Brookdale Community College. Dr. Trimble was honored as the Monmouth County Teacher of the Year in 1995. Richard and his wife, Jean, have three children, Abby, Jill, and Andrew, and two grandaughters, Alexandra and Emily Grace. The family resides in Manasquan, New Jersey.
