Darwin Rost

Darwin Rost is the head football coach at Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, a position he assumed in 1996. In his 10 seasons with the Panthers, he has led Palo Verde to 74 wins and has helped establish them as one of the top teams in the state. In the process, they have achieved exceptional success, including winning the state championship in 2004, in addition to earning three regional championships during his tenure. A 1984 graduate of Dakota State College, Rost has coached high school football for 22 years—20 of them in the Las Vegas area. One of the most respected coaches in the game, Rost has coached several players who have gone on to play at the collegiate level.
