Jeff Banks

Jeff Banks is the running backs and punters coach at the University of Texas at El Paso, a position he assumed in 2004. Banks also serves as the Miners recruiting coordinator. Prior to his arrival at UTEP, he served in a similar capacity at Idaho State for three seasons. At each stop in his coaching career, Banks has helped develop one of the most productive offenses in the country, as well as a series of accomplished punters. A 1988 graduate of Washington State, where he earned two letters as a punter and led the Pac-10 in punting as a senior, Banks began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, working under renowned Cougars head coach Mike Price.
