Ray Cosenza

Ray Cosenza is the athletic director and head football coach at Fitchburg High School (MA). Since assuming responsibility for the Red Raiders’ football program in 1989, Cosenza has led Fitchburg to unprecedented success on the gridiron. During his 18 years at the helm, Fitchburg has appeared in the Massachusetts state Super Bowl Championship game nine times, winning three times. Prior to coming to Fitchburg, Cosenza served as the head football coach at St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School for five seasons. A 1980 graduate of Springfield College, Cosenza is a much sought-after speaker at football clinics nationwide.
