Jeff Mullen

Jeff Mullen is the quarterbacks coach at Wake Forest University. Upon joining the Deacons’ staff in 2001, Mullen coached the offensive line for two seasons, before assuming his present position in 2003. A 1990 graduate of Wittenberg University, where he was a three-year starter and four-year letterwinner as a defensive back for the Tigers, Mullen began his coaching career in 1990 at Hamilton Township (OH) High School, where he coached for one season. He then served as a defensive graduate assistant at the University of Hawaii for one year. Next, he had a successful nine-year stint on the staff at the Ohio University (1992-2000), during which time he was hired by Jim Grobe (current head coach at Wake Forest), upon Grobe’s arrival at OU in December 1994. Mullen is widely respected as one of the top young coaches in the game.
