Kristy Curry

Kristy Curry is the head women's basketball coach at Texas Tech University, a position she assumed in 2006. Before that, she served in the same role at Purdue University. A 1988 graduate of Northeast Louisiana, Curry is widely respected as one of the most knowledgeable coaches in the game. She began her coaching career on the interscholastic level. She came to Purdue following three years as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech under the legendary coach, Leon Barmore. Prior to coaching at Louisiana Tech, Curry served as an assistant at Texas A&M (1994-1996), Stephen F. Austin (1993-1994), and Tulane (1991-1993).
