John Rodenberg

John Rodenberg is the head football coach at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, a position he assumed in 2007. A three-year letterwinner as a linebacker at Capital University, Rodenberg has been coaching for 21 years. He began his coaching career in 1987 as an assistant coach at LaSalle (OH) High School. In 1994, he accepted the job as the head football coach at McNicholas (OH) High School, a position he held for 11 years. Rodenberg was then hired as the head football coach at Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) in 2005. He served in that capacity for two years, culminating in the Colonials winning a Kentucky state 3A championship in 2006. He next moved to Roger Bacon (OH) High School, where he led the Spartans for a season. John and his wife, Sue, have two children, Maria and Jim.
