Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson served as the wide receivers coach for the Baltimore Ravens for the past two seasons, 2006-2007. Prior to that, he was on the staff of the Atlanta Falcons for four years (2002-2005)—the first year as the wide receivers coach and the last three as the quarterbacks coach. Under Johnson’s tutelage, Michael Vick became a Pro Bowl quarterback. Before joining the Falcons, he served as the quarterbacks coach for the San Diego Chargers from 2000-2001. A 1990 graduate of the University of Akron, where he played quarterback for the Zips for two seasons, Johnson played professional football for six years (NFL, World League, and CFL) after graduation before embarking on a coaching career as an assistant coach at Oregon State (1997-1999). Johnson is widely respected as one of the top assistant coaches in the NFL.
