Tom Watts

Tom Watts is the defensive coordinator at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. Since assuming his present position in 2004, Watts has molded the Pioneers into one of the top defensive squads in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Watts came to UW–Platteville from Waynesburg College, where he served as the co-defensive coordinator for the Pennsylvania school that finished 9-2 overall, won the President’s Athletic Conference with an undefeated mark, and advanced to the NCAA III national playoffs. A 2002 graduate of Hanover College, where he was a strong safety for two conference championship teams, Watts is widely respected as one of the top young coaches in the game.
