Michael LaFido

Michael LaFido works as a health education teacher at Glenbard South (IL) High School. Previously, he was an assistant football coach at North Central College (IL), a position he held from 2004-2006. Prior to that, he coached at Elmhurst College during the 2003 season. He has extensive experience with the basic elements attendant to successful defensive back play. In high school, LaFido was a starting safety on the 1992 Wheaton Warrenville South (IL) High School football team that won the Illinois state championship. He then played as a cornerback at the College of DuPage (IL), where his team went 23-0 during his two seasons. He completed his collegiate playing career at Northern Michigan University, where he was a starting cornerback for two seasons. Upon graduation, he then began his coaching career as an assistant at his alma mater.
