David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson is the offensive coordinator at Northeast (MS) Community College, a position he assumed in 2003. Upon assuming responsibility for the Tigers’ offensive attack, Wilkerson installed the wide-open, no-huddle spread offense—a step that has enabled Northeast’s offense to be among the most prolific in the country since his arrival, averaging almost 400 yards per game. Before joining the gridiron program at Northeast, Wilkerson served as the head football coach at Horn Lake (MS) High School, where he led the team to its first-ever 10-win season. A 1979 graduate of the University of North Alabama, Wilkerson’s extensive coaching resume also includes stints on the collegiate level at Delta State University and Mississippi Delta Community College, as well as on the interscholastic level for several teams.
