John R. Anderson

John Anderson is the head baseball coach at the University of Minnesota, a position he assumed in 1981 after serving as an assistant on the Gophers’ staff the previous four seasons. One of the most widely respected coaches in the game, Anderson is the all-time winningest coach in UM history with 838 wins. In his highly successful career, he has led Minnesota to 20 Big Ten tournament appearances in 23 seasons, winning eight times. Five times, he has been awarded Big Ten Coach of the Year honors. His exceptional ability to attract top-notch athletes to the Gophers’ diamond program is reflected in the fact that he has coached 15 All-Americans, 112 Academic All-Big Ten selections, and 218 University of Minnesota Scholar-Athlete Award winners.

Rick Aberman, Ph.D., has been working with athletes, corporations, sports, and business executives for almost 20 years. He holds a Ph.D. in developmental psychology and family therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Aberman was the psychologist on the sports medicine staff of the University of Wisconsin-Madison athletics department. He pioneered a program designed specifically to meet the needs of the highly competitive student-athlete, coaches, and administrators. Dr. Aberman specializes in working with elite leaders and performers: collegiate and professional coaches, athletes, and collegiate and professional sports teams, as well as senior leaders and business executives throughout North America.
