Alfred F. Morris

Alfred F. Morris, Ph.D., FACSM, is the health improvement and physical fitness director for the U.S. Border Patrol, the largest uniformed federal law enforcement agency with nearly 10,000 sworn officers, in Washington D.C. The author of two texts in sports medicine and an internationally recognized sports medicine professional, Dr. Morris speaks worldwide on the topics of athletic training, nutrition for optimal sports performance, athletic injuries, and physical fitness fields. He has taught at two major universities and directed the U.S. Olympic Sports Medicine Research and Education Site at the University of Illinois for the 1981-1984 Quadrennial. A former active marathon runner with a best time of 2.44, Dr. Morris is the coaching education chair for the USATF/PVA.
