Muffet McGraw

Muffet McGraw is the head women's basketball coach at the University of Notre Dame, a position she assumed in 1987. During her exceptional career at Notre Dame, her teams have averaged an extraordinary 21 wins per season. In the process, McGraw has guided the Irish to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances, including two trips to the Final Four and an NCAA Championship in 2001. With the most coaching wins in the history of Notre Dame women's basketball, McGraw has been honored numerous times for her achievements. Prior to assuming her present position in South Bend, Muffet was the head coach at Leigh University (1982-1986). She and her husband, Matt, are the parents of one child, Murphy.
