Fred Corral

Fred Corral is an assistant baseball coach at the University of Tennessee, a position he assumed in 2007. He previously served in the same position for UT during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. In between, Corral spent three years in the same role at the University of Oklahoma. Responsible for the Volunteers' pitching staff, Corral has helped establish Tennessee pitchers as one of the top staffs in the pitching-rich Southeastern Conference. Corral's coaching résumé includes stints at both Sacramento City College (1996-2002) and San Joaquin Delta College (1993-1995). He also worked for three seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers' and the Montreal Expos' organizations in developing their young prospects. Widely regarded for his knowledge of pitching fundamentals, Corral is respected as one of the top pitching coaches in the game.
