S. "Chuck" Myers

S. Chuck Myers is the tight ends coach at Paul Quinn College in Dallas, Texas. Previously, Myers served as head football coach at St. Vincent’s Episcopal School in Bedford, Texas, where Myers designed and implemented the school’s first middle and high school football programs. In 2003, as the tight ends coach at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, Myers helped lead the team to the Texas TAPPS 5A state championship. However, Myers is best known as a wide receivers coach, having coached at several Dallas-area high schools, including Covenant Christian Academy (Colleyville), Fort Worth Country Day School (Fort Worth), and The Oakridge School (Arlington). Myers enjoys giving back to the community by coaching at programs designed for inner-city youth. Myers has served as a head coach in the NFL’s Junior Player Development program, and has coached at a number of Play It Smart camps and similar camps on the East Coast, as well as in Texas. Acknowledged as a technician and a true student of the game, Myers has spent the last decade gaining knowledge of the receiver position by spending significant time at a wide range of football programs. These include Southlake (TX) Carroll High School (the 2002, 2004, and 2005 Texas state champions and the 2004 and 2005 Mythical National Champions), the University of North Texas, and Southern Methodist University. Myers has an MBA from Harvard Business School and previously worked as an investment banker on Wall Street and in Europe. After growing up in Kansas City and living in Boston, New York, Germany, and England, Myers moved to Texas in 1992 and, like most residents of the state, became a football addict.
