John Thompson
John Thompson is the defensive coordinator at Georgia State University, serving on the staff of renowned coach Bill Curry. Highly respected and renowned for his knowledge of defensive fundamentals and techniques, John has more than two decades of experience as a defensive coordinator. His extensive resume includes stints at Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Mississippi, Northwestern State, South Carolina, and Southern Mississippi, as well as two seasons as the head coach at East Carolina. More than 40 of his defensive players have been drafted by the NFL.
