Larry Kindbom

Larry Kindbom is the head football coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Since assuming the head coaching reins of the Bears in 1989, Kindbom has overhauled the Washington University gridiron program and has guided it to the upper echelon of Division III football. In the process, his teams have gone 134-85, won eight University Athletic Association titles, made their first NCAA playoff appearance in school history, and experienced a school record of 15 winning seasons in a row. A 1974 graduate of Kalamazoo College where he won four letters on the gridiron, Kindbom began his coaching career at his alma mater. Since then, he has worked on the staffs at Akron, Ohio State, Western Michigan, and Kenyon College.
