Jerry Gordon

Jerry Gordon began the football program at Woodgrove High School located in Purcellville, Virginia.

Gordon started his football career as a walk-on at University of Massachusetts in 1979. He went on to become a three year starter on the offensive line, earning a full scholarship and becoming one of the only few players in University of Massachusetts history to become a two-time captain. University of Massachusetts won or shared 3 Yankee Conference football championships in that period.

Gordon has coached with the Boston Breakers (USFL), Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts, Yale University, Sandwich (MA) High School, Potomac Falls (VA) High School and Woodgrove (VA) High School.

Gordon has also had two articles published in Gridiron Magazine and an article published in Success Magazine. Gordon has also written numerous Internet articles and has appeared on Portland Radio Station 95.5 “The Game”.

Gordon and his wife Carol, currently reside in Hamilton, VA. Gordon is stepfather to two children, Erik and Jennifer, and has four granddaughters
