Bill Gierke
Bill Gierke has been a football coach in the state of Florida for 33 years, 28 of those as a head football coach. He has an overall record of 244 wins, 61 losses, and one tie. During those years as a head coach, his teams have won one state championship, three state runner-up finishes, seven regional championships, and 15 district championships. Currently, he is the head coach at Edgewater (FL) High School, a position he has held for nine seasons. For his coaching efforts, Gierke has been honored numerous times. His achievements also include coaching 11 young men who have played in the NFL. In addition, he has coached six high school All-Americans.
